BRAVIO
THE FOUNDERS
Bravio was born in Queimadas, in the Sertão of Bahia, from the meeting between two women and their relationships with this territory.
Vivian Bincoleto brings with her a family history linked to beekeeping in Piauí — a closeness to honey that spans generations.
Dinorá Souza, a daughter of the Sertão, carries the experience of someone who knows firsthand the strength, the cycles, and the possibilities of the Caatinga.
Together, they transformed these two stories into a common project: to value origins, preserve the identity of the flowerings, and present Brazilian honey from a more sensory and gastronomic perspective.
Bravio is born from two women, two paths, and the same desire to reveal the extraordinary that exists in the Sertão.

OUR ORIGIN
In the Caatinga, the landscape changes with the rains, with time, and with each new bloom. These transformations also reach the honey.
Color, aroma, flavor, and texture can change depending on the vegetation available to the bees, the territory, and the flowering period.
It was by observing these differences that Bravio found its purpose: to recognize the identity of each origin and allow it to reach the table.
For us, origin is not just where the honey comes from. It is part of what it is.
OUR WAY OF DOING
Honey changes with the bloom, with the territory, and with time. Our job is to preserve these differences so that each batch maintains its own identity.
IDENTIFIED SOURCE
We maintain batch traceability back to its origin.
PRESERVED BLOOMS
We respect the sensory characteristics that differentiate one bloom from another.
WITHOUT HOMOGENIZATION
We do not mix different batches to artificially create a single color or flavor standard.
NO HEATING
We do not use heating as a way to standardize the natural characteristics of the honey.
FROM THE SOURCE TO THE JAR

01
TERRITORY
The flowering and the conditions of the territory give rise to the characteristics of each batch.

02
APIARY
The origin is identified and tracked from the apiary.

03
PROCESSING
The honey goes through controlled stages of extraction, settling, and packaging.

04
BRAVE
Each batch reaches the market preserving its identity and traceability.

PEOPLE AND TERRITORY
Honey begins in the territory, but it also involves the people who live, know, and work in it.
Bravio builds relationships with beekeepers and partners linked to the regions of origin of our honeys, valuing local knowledge, different blooms, and the identity of each territory.
These relationships expand our perspective on honey and allow us to discover new origins without losing what has guided Bravio since the beginning: respect for the origin, quality, and characteristics of each batch.
